She started to dedicate to the building of an art collection about years ago. Initially, her collection focused on Mediterranean contemporary painting from the 1980s and 1990s, to later include artworks in a variety of media and influential artists from different places. She started collecting contemporary art in the 1990s, encompassing international artists from Europe, the United States, India and Asia.
